Implementation Associate
Work directly with Altitude 7's founder to learn how we build and teach applied AI. The role combines client enablement, supervised agent development, testing, documentation, and demonstrations. It is designed for someone at the beginning of a high-potential career—not a finished senior developer.
Hours
15–20 per week
Compensation
$35–$45 per hour
What you will do
- Learn Altitude 7's training curriculum, then help deliver practical sessions on Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, and agent workflows.
- Build and improve straightforward AI agents, prototypes, and workflow automations with guidance from the founder.
- Turn rough ideas into working demonstrations using language models, APIs, and modern development tools.
- Test outputs, investigate problems, document what works, and make each implementation easier for the next person to use.
- Explain technical ideas in plain English and help clients become confident using the systems we build.
Who thrives here
We hire for trajectory, not polish.
Recent graduates, self-taught developers, and candidates with a few years of experience are welcome. Curiosity and evidence matter more than a perfect resume.
A builder's foundation
Computer science, software engineering, or equivalent demonstrated technical ability. We care more about what you can build and explain than the name of your degree.
Learning velocity
AI tooling changes weekly. You enjoy learning unfamiliar products, testing them properly, and forming your own view rather than repeating the latest claim.
Clear communication
You can present, listen, think on your feet, and translate technical detail for someone who is encountering it for the first time.
Commercial curiosity
Finance or business exposure is valuable but not required. What matters is an interest in how technology changes real work inside an investment firm.

Send a resume or LinkedIn profile, plus a GitHub profile, portfolio, or a clear example of something you personally built using AI.
Structured conversation
Selected applicants complete a recorded, AI-assisted interview so we can understand how they communicate, learn, and reason through unfamiliar problems.
Meet the founder
A live conversation about the role, the work, and whether this is the environment in which you will do your best work.
Paid practical exercise
Finalists complete a short, paid assignment based on the type of training or agent-building work they would actually do at Altitude 7.
A transparent, human-reviewed process
AI tools may help us organize and summarize application materials, and selected candidates may be invited to a recorded AI-assisted interview. A person reviews advancement and hiring decisions.
